The Port of Chittagong (Port code: BDCGP) is the largest seaport in

meters are allowed to enter the port. There are tides in the port, with

berths stretching on the right bank of the port area, including two
barge berths. The length of the piers is 130-190 meters, and the water
depth at the front is 6.5-9.0 meters. Among them, 13 are used for
loading and unloading groceries, and 4 are used for loading and
unloading grain, cement, bricks and other construction materials. Due to
the growth of cargo in and out of the port, two multi-purpose berths
were built on its downstream north bank. In addition, there are 7 tanker
buoys, 4 dry cargo buoys and 2 barge buoys on the river. There are also
60,000-dwt crude oil berths at the outer anchorage.
